Event for Second Stage Entrepreneurs at Michelangelo's Winery a Success
May 16 was a gorgeous sunny evening, a perfect setting for the second stage business-focused get-together held at the gorgeous Michelango's Winery in Richfield. Approximately 75 entrepreneurs and foundation partners gathered for this networking & learning social event co-hosted by Burton D. Morgan Foundation and EDGE powered by MAGNET.
The event was aimed at entrepreneurs leading companies with revenues ranging from $1M to $50M. As part of our recently refined strategic direction, Morgan Foundation has prioritized growth of second stage entrepreneur-led businesses, recognizing that while they have an outsized impact on the regional economy, yet there is insufficient programming targeting this important subset of entrepreneurs.
Event attendees connected with one another and learned about upcoming events and learning opportunities, while soaking up the ambience and enjoying fantastic refreshments. Several business owners shared their experiences with programming sponsored by Morgan Foundation, such as Scalerator NEO and the Edward Lowe Foundation suite of programs, and the impact it had on them and their businesses.
