As we conclude the second quarter and prepare to embark on the next half of 2024, we’re energized by the work we’ve begun toward bringing our new strategic plan to life. Our recently released “Charting a Course” annual report details the year’s efforts by Morgan Foundation staff and trustees to develop a new strategic direction to positively impact Northeast Ohio’s economic landscape.
YIPPEE Exchange is moving full steam ahead to support youth entrepreneurship. The YIPPEE marketplace connects entrepreneurship educators with high quality programs and resources for their classrooms and programs. Morgan Foundation remains steadfast in our support of entrepreneurs of all ages and stages. We're encouraged to see that Ohio was recently rated the #1 best place in the US to start a business by Finfare. We proudly partner with universities and organizations across the region to provide Morgan Startup Grants – small infusions of cash (microgrants) – paired with expert business guidance to jump start fledgling ventures in our region and ensure these startups thrive.
We’re excited about our renewed focus on spurring growth in second stage businesses through programs and events supporting their leadership, such as Scalerator NEO and the Edward Lowe Foundation Suite of Programs. Applications for the 2025 Scalerator cohort are now open. And if you missed our recent networking and learning event at Michael Angelo’s Winery last month, fear not! Additional events are planned in partnership with MAGNET in September and November – register now.
