Please join us in congratulating Emily Bean on her recent promotion! Effective in March 2023, Emily is the Foundation’s new Director of Youth Entrepreneurship Education.
Emily has been a Program Officer with Morgan Foundation for the last eight years. While Emily has collaborated with grantees across all Foundation focal areas, she has primarily worked with partners in the youth entrepreneurship space and has excelled in this area.
Emily was instrumental in the creation and development of YIPPEE – short for Youth. Ideas. Product. Points. Entrepreneurship. Education. YIPPEE Exchange is a first-of-its-kind online platform launched in 2022 by Burton D. Morgan Foundation and Young Entrepreneur Institute to serve as a one-stop-shopping experience for youth entrepreneurship education opportunities. It is a free-market approach to philanthropy in which teachers drive funding decisions.
In her new role, Emily will focus on continuing to grow and expand the YIPPEE platform to further the Foundation’s entrepreneurship education endeavors in Northeast Ohio and across the United States.
