Eddie Taylor, Jr. Joins Foundation Board
Burton D. Morgan Foundation Trustees and Staff are pleased to announce that Eddie Taylor Jr. has joined the Foundation Board of Trustees, effective February 1.
Taylor is President of Taylor Oswald, a venture between Mr. Taylor and Oswald Companies, one of the nation’s largest independent, employee-owned insurance brokerage firms. Taylor also previously owned or operated companies in a variety of industries, including warehousing and distribution.
A native of the Cleveland area, Eddie Taylor is a graduate of Elyria West High School and Allegheny College. He also completed the Executive MBA Program at the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management. Taylor is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Allegheny College and a former Chairman of the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross. He has also led as Chair of The Presidents’ Council, LLC and the Commission on Economic Inclusion.
Taylor is the current vice chair of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and serves as a board member for a number of organizations, including the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission; Greater Cleveland Partnership; Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education; College Now, Greater Cleveland; Cuyahoga Community College Foundation; and the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges.
