Foundation Response to Novel Coronavirus
Burton D. Morgan Foundation has adopted several measures in response to the current health crisis posed by the COVID-19 virus.
The Foundation's work is continuing with little interruption. While we have temporarily closed the office, staff is working remotely from our homes and are able to continue to make scheduled grant payments and review applications and reports. In keeping with the recommendation of authorities, we are temporarily suspending travel, attendance at events, and face-to-face meetings.
We recognize that this public health situation may require some of our grantees to adjust their operations and work plans. We are very willing to consider modifications or scheduling changes necessitated by the current situation. We also understand that there may be a delay in meeting previously agreed-upon deadlines for grant reporting.
Grantees who need to request time extensions or modifications to their current grant agreements should reach out to Gina Dotson, Grants and Communications Manager at gdotson@bdmorganfdn.org or their program officer. As always, the Foundation’s grantmaking guidelines can be found here: www.bdmorganfdn.org/apply.
