Networking & Learning Event Attracts Growth-Oriented Entrepreneurs

On September 12, Burton D. Morgan Foundation and MAGNET (Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network) hosted their second summer networking and learning event for second-stage entrepreneurs. The event took place at Pinstripes in Beachwood, where small business owners enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, and sunny weather while connecting with fellow entrepreneurs.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about growth initiatives through Scalerator NEO and the Edward Lowe Foundation Suite of Programs. These programs are available at no cost to qualified participants.

Sue Kronenberger, President of Valley City, shared her experiences with the Scalerator and SIG (System for Integrated Growth) programs, highlighting the significant growth achieved through these initiatives.

Flynn Ming owner, Zhao Liu commented, “The event offered valuable insights into the Edward Lowe Foundation and SIG program, great resources for scaling second-stage companies.”

Earlier this summer, a similar networking event held at Michael Angelo’s Winery in Richfield attracted a dynamic group of business owners eager to fuel their growth.

Applications are now open for Scalerator NEO, a six-month, cohort-based educational program designed for entrepreneurs and their teams seeking immediate business growth. The 2025 cohort will begin in January.

Funding from Morgan Foundation and the Fasenmyer Fund covers all costs associated with Scalerator, which is available in only five other locations worldwide.

Morgan Foundation also partners with the Edward Lowe Foundation to provide growth programming for qualified businesses. Some opportunities are offered virtually, while others take place onsite at the Edward Lowe Foundation’s picturesque Big Rock Valley property in Cassopolis, Michigan.

Thanks to the co-investment of funds by Burton D. Morgan Foundation and the Edward Lowe Foundation, all program offerings are provided free of charge to Northeast Ohio participants.

Most available program opportunities are aimed at privately owned, growth-oriented companies with annual revenues between $1M and $50M and at least 10 employees.
