The 8th Annual Deshpande Symposium will take place from June 10-12, 2019 in historic and cultural Lowell, Massachusetts, at the UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center
The primary goals of the Symposium are to highlight and share international best practice in entrepreneurship education and curriculum, university commercialization efforts, and the development of entrepreneurial institutions and ecosystems. It attracts entrepreneurship innovators, faculty, center staff, senior level administrators and funding agencies from the US, Canada, and around the world.
The Symposium is hosted by the Deshpande Foundation and UMass Lowell with the generous support and contributions of a prestigious steering committee, program sponsors and media partners. It is held in conjunction with the Deshpande Symposium Awards for Excellence in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which offers an opportunity to celebrate and highlight the accomplishments faculty, programs, and institutions.
The Symposium owes its success to the innovative ideas and programs that are shared by participants during the panel sessions. This is your chance to consider developing an interactive panel or workshop for the 2019 Symposium. The Call for Panel presentations is now open. We encourage you to review the opportunity in more detail at Call for Presentations. Proposals are due by January 22, 2019. The full program will be announced in early March 2019.
