Scholarships Available for Cleveland Entrepreneurship Bootcamp
The Cleveland Entrepreneurship Bootcamp will be held on six consecutives Saturdays in October and November at John Carroll University. Facilitator Alysha Ellis, Founder of Mas LaRae, will cover the following topics:
- Planning, Thinking Strategically, and Managing Your Risk
- Understanding Your Model for Making Money
- Getting Resources When You Do Not Have Any Money
- Understanding and Marketing To Your Customers
- Operations and Other Fundamentals that Matter
Sessions will be held from 8:30am - 1:00 pm and lunch and refreshments will be provided. Each Saturday will include and hour long session that digs deeper into a particular topic with local experts (lawyers, bankers, social media professionals, experts in government contracts).
Who is eligible to participate?
Anyone in the community who suffers from adverse economic or related circumstances is eligible to participate in the program. We focus on supporting disadvantaged community members who have a dream of starting and growing a venture, including those who have already started a venture but are struggling.
What is the cost?
The price of the Community Bootcamp is $600. However, scholarships of $575 are available for anyone with financial need. All applicants are considered for scholarship.
