Stipend Opportunity Available for Youth Educators
Apply by April 15
EntrepreNEW is a program focused on the development of Power Skills that are crucial to entrepreneurial success. The program offers 10 playbooks and 10 mentor guidebooks that structure the experience for students, educators, and mentors. We are seeking educators to pilot the curriculum and provide feedback on how to improve. Stipends will be provided to educators as follows:
(1) $6,500 to pilot and provide feedback on the full curriculum (10 playbooks & 10 mentor guidebooks); and
(2) $2,500 to pilot and provide feedback on just the mentor guidebooks.
The first role is ideal for any entrepreneurship educator who has the capability to implement an immersive program and the second is for any CTE educator who is using the curriculum to embed entrepreneurship into their existing course(s). Funding will be provided in two tranches – half at the outset and half after the pilots have been implemented and feedback has been received. These funds will be provided by the Dick Chenoweth Experiential Education Fund of Akron Community Foundation.
