Venture for America Seeks Companies to Hire Fellows
Venture for America is looking for companies to hire Fellows. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, they have made some modifications to their matchmaking process:
- Pushed the start of the matchmaking process back six weeks to May 18th. This gives companies more time to evaluate and allows incoming Fellows to adjust to leaving campus and taking up distance learning.
- Expanded the criteria of a VFA placement company to include later-stage growth companies, some nonprofits, and qualified roles in more established companies. We will maintain high standards of quality, but broaden our scope to ensure employment.
- Extended the timeline for hiring. Fellows will need to have offers by December 31st (extended from August 30th) in order to qualify as a Class of 2020 Fellow.
