According to Young Entrepreneur Institute, this year's competition was the biggest one yet. They shared the following stats:
- 3,322 students were taught Pitch Challenge
- 1,433 student competitors
- 76 participating educators from 60 schools across 11 counties
- 86 Pitch Challenge finalists
- 12 Pitch Challenge winners selected by independent judges
- 3 People's Choice winners selected from more than 9,000 public votes
- More than $5,000 awarded in prizes
- 32 pizza or donut parties organized to celebrate
